Terms of use
Last updated: October 2026
1. What this service is
A research workspace that helps you plan a study, search and organise evidence, run standard analyses and draft documents. It is a tool used by you, not an author or a co-signatory.
2. Accounts
Accounts are created with a single-use signup code issued by an administrator, or through the configured sign-in provider. You are responsible for what is done under your account and for keeping your credentials secret.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
- submit content you have no right to process, including material that identifies a patient or participant without authorisation;
- attempt to access, probe or disrupt another user's projects or the service itself;
- use the service to generate material intended to be submitted as your own original work without disclosure and review.
4. Verification is your responsibility
The service labels every reference VERIFIED, PARTIALLY VERIFIED or UNVERIFIED and will not present an unconfirmed source as confirmed. That label is information, not a warranty: you remain responsible for reading the source and confirming it says what you cite it for.
5. Not a substitute for review
Nothing produced here replaces supervision, ethical approval, statistical consultation, regulatory review or clinical judgement. Quality gates and integrity checks are aids to review, not a passing grade.
6. Your content stays yours
You keep all rights to the documents, data and notes you put into the workspace. You grant us only what is needed to operate the service: to store, transmit and display your content back to you and to administrators as described in the privacy notice.
7. Availability
The service may be unavailable for maintenance or fault, and features may change. Your document history is versioned, so a change to the application does not erase what you wrote.
8. Disclaimer
The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for decisions taken in reliance on its output, nor for loss of data caused by misuse of the workspace.
9. Termination
An administrator may suspend or delete an account that breaches these terms. You may ask for your account and its projects to be removed at any time.
